What Kanon collects

Kanon is a public credits database. Public pages may show names, profile photos, social handles, portfolio links, media appearances, timestamps, and other credits that are submitted, claimed, verified, or available from public sources.

If you create an account, submit a credit, claim a profile, or use paid features, we collect the information needed to run those features, such as your email address, authentication details, submission history, profile edits, subscription status, and support messages.

Analytics

Kanon uses PostHog to understand site usage, product performance, and traffic sources. PostHog may collect event data such as pages viewed, clicks, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network data, referrers, and account or profile identifiers when needed to provide analytics features.

You can reduce analytics tracking by using browser privacy settings, blocking cookies or scripts, or enabling a browser-level Do Not Track or similar privacy control where supported.

Advertising cookies

Kanon may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where allowed.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings, industry opt-out tools, and your browser or device privacy controls. Blocking cookies may affect some site or advertising features.

Affiliate tracking

Some outbound links, including creator monetization links, may use affiliate tracking. When you click those links, Kanon may route the click through a tracking endpoint or add a tracking parameter so a partner can attribute the referral.

Affiliate tracking is used to measure outbound referrals and, where applicable, earn commission. You can avoid this tracking by not clicking affiliate links, blocking tracking parameters where your browser supports it, or navigating to the destination directly.

How Kanon uses information

We use information to operate the credits database, verify claims, process submissions, prevent abuse, provide analytics to claimed profile owners, manage paid products, improve search and discovery, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

We do not sell account information. Public profile and appearance information is visible by design unless a profile or credit is removed.

Removal and contact

Models and creators can request removal of their Kanon profile or appearances. Kanon honors model removal requests immediately, no questions asked.

For privacy requests, removal requests, or questions, contact Kanon at support@kanon.live.
